Lots of Giggles, chats and most likely some tears which we can’t guarantee won’t come from us too!!!!

We will strive to make you as comfortable as we can and find out what style, what shape, what sort of wedding you are having … we are more than happy to take the lead for brides who are not sure what they want or what they think suits them, and we are also just as happy to support the bride who knows exactly what look she wants to achieve. We will assist you in trying on our beautiful gowns and making sure you look stunning when asking your bridal party for their advice on the dress.

What to wear

First and foremost whatever feels most comfortable for you, most brides will try and stick with nude underwear and a strapless bra, some like to come in full tummy sucker in pants! It really is what you are happy in and you really don’t need to worry about shoes at this stage.

Who can I bring with me?

We are able to comfortably seat up to 4 guests plus the Bride.

It’s also so important you invite your most supportive family + friends who will help your decision making and share your “Yes” moment.

Photography

In this modern world we know that most of our brides will want to take some sort of photographs as they try on gowns, we are more than happy for the sassy selfie takers and eager bride tribes to capture this exciting event. All we ask is that you are mindful of the brides wishes when it comes to this.

Consultations

Our appointments are based on a 90 minute time frame….which gives us time to have a great chat with our brides and really find out all about you whilst finding you the perfect dress. It also allows plenty of time to try different silhouettes and styles.

Sample sizes

We aim to keep in a variety of sample sizes, we know that the female body comes in all beautiful shapes and sizes and we have strived to be inclusive for all our dresses, so that a bride can feel comfortable in whatever dress she chooses to try on.

Alterations

Once you’ve found your dream dress, we’ll order the size closest to your measurements. Please be aware that it is almost always the case that your dress will need alterations, we are trained and experienced in measuring, but the human body is not a one size fits all… we have an amazing recommended seamstress who will be more than happy to carry out the alterations on your dress once it has arrived.

How long does my dress take to arrive?

Dresses can take anything from 4 to 6 months to arrive depending on Designer. You also need to factor in alterations which take approx. 2 months. Lastly we like to add another 4 weeks for flexibility.

When do I need to pay for my dress?

We ask that you pay a 50% Initial Payment once you have chosen ‘The One’ and the remaining balance when you collect your dress. Any dress purchased in a sample sale will need to be paid in full, all accessories and veils will also need to be paid in full at time of ordering.
