To us, this is the most important part of you finding ‘The One’.
We want to be a part of your story, being part of that story means we would love you to believe in us. We know that there will be some of our brides who will simply sparkle when being the centre of attention, along with our brides who find it more comfortable to be less of a shining star. We want all of our brides to simply have the experience they are most comfortable with.
We pride ourselves on showering you with just the right amount of bridal brilliance so that you will always remember the day you found the dress of your dreams.
So, we promise to have the fizz in the fridge, the music perfected, and a beautiful boutique to relax in while we chat and find out all about our brides….. We can’t wait to meet you all xx
When should I start to
look for my dress?
Generally we would recommend 12 months ahead of your big day.
In a rush?
We do have the opportunity to facilitate rush orders at an additional cost depending on designers and styles. We also have a beautiful collection of sample gowns that you can take home. Let’s discuss the possibilities. We will do everything in our power to help.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes, we want to ensure our brides get our full attention.
We are open for walk ins through the week and for brides looking to complete their look with complementing accessories. All we ask is that you call ahead to ensure we can give you our undivided attention.
Virtual Appointments
We would be happy to facilitate a call via Zoom to allow you to view our collections and discuss our gowns in more detail. Please let us know and we’ll make the arrangements.
What to expect...
Lots of Giggles and chats, a glass of fizz, warm tea or coffee and most likely some tears which we can’t guarantee won’t come from us too!!!!
We will strive to make you as comfortable as we can and find out what style, what shape, what sort of wedding you are having … we are more than happy to take the lead for brides who are not sure what they want or what they think suits them, and we are also just as happy to support the bride who knows exactly what look she wants to achieve. We will assist you in trying on our beautiful gowns and making sure you look stunning when asking your bridal party for their advice on the dress.
What to wear
First and foremost whatever feels most comfortable for you, most brides will try and stick with nude underwear and a strapless bra, some like to come in full tummy sucker in pants! It really is what you are happy in. Might be a good idea to bring along a pair of shoes….or the actual shoes you will be wearing on the day.
Who can I bring with me?
Currently we are allowing the bride plus 4 guests. We are still asking guests to sanitise their hands on arrival. We also ask that any bride or guests remain mindful of any Covid symptoms and inform us accordingly.
Photography
In this modern world we know that most of our brides will want to take some sort of photographs as they try on gowns, we are more than happy for the sassy selfie takers and eager bride tribes to capture this exciting event. All we ask is that you are mindful of the brides wishes when it comes to this.
Consultations
Our appointments are based on a 90 minute time frame….which gives us time to have a great chat with our brides and really find out all about you whilst finding you the perfect dress. It also allows plenty of time to try different silhouettes and styles.
Sample sizes
We aim to keep in a variety of sample sizes, we know that the female body comes in all beautiful shapes and sizes and we have strived to be inclusive for all our dresses, so that a bride can feel comfortable in whatever dress she chooses to try on.
Alterations
Once you’ve found your dream dress, we’ll order the size closest to your measurements. Please be aware that it is almost always the case that your dress will need alterations, we are trained and experienced in measuring, but the human body is not a one size fits all… we have an amazing recommended seamstress who will be more than happy to carry out the alterations on your dress once it has arrived.
How long does my dress
take to arrive?
This can vary between each designer, but as a rule most dresses take approximately 16 weeks to arrive.
When do I need to pay
for my dress?
We ask that you pay a 50% deposit once you have chosen ‘The One’ and the remaining balance when you collect your dress. Any dress purchased in a sample sale will need to be paid in full, all accessories and veils will also need to be paid in full at time of ordering.
